anything is possible

unless the MINI seats happen to match what ever mounting arrangement is there for your BMW seats it will not be a simple bolt in job

and don't forget the MINI seats have airbags ..... use CAUTION . . .

I thought this would be a good idea too, you would have to fabricate the mounts but as the Capn said, anything is doable.....I don't think the airbag presents a danger as long as there's no electricity to it.

I put a Miata seat on the driver's side in my Clubman Estate for long trips, it was SO much more comfortable and I could move it back further due to the way I mounted it.

Thanks! I am hoping I come across someone who has did it already a bracket should be easy. What I really want is to fabricate the rear seats too which I think will take the most time. The air bags will not cause a problem because they are not connected but I think it would be pretty cool to hook up the heated seats! I really hope someone stumbles across this who has done a swap cause I wanna see pictures

the inflator gizmo is in there ..... a chemical gas generator. I respect things that go boom; sometimes they go boom when not expected to.

I just would feel remiss had I not mentioned it.

I also respect things that potentially go boom, but absent electricity, there's no problem.

The biggest problem doing this is supplying enough current, to do that you'll need a whole new circuit - fused and with the correct relay.....depending on where you live and how cold it gets there, I might just let this idea go....

Hello,

Saw your photos and it looks great.

It would be appreciated if you could kindly advise on your installation method, such as bracket, sub-frame, and slider used?

Thank you.
