After owning two BMW's(228i and a M235I) I couldn't stop thinking about owning another MINI JCW. I got the bug after owning a 2011 MINI R56 JCW which I still regret selling.

I have ordered a brand new 2016 MINI F56 JCW 6spd.

Specs are:

Exterior Color - Rebel Green
Interior Color - Dinamica Cloth Carbon Black

Nice build! 6 speed manual? If so, good for you! I too am in a new JCW due (partially) to a 2011 JCW.....it's a long story but I missed buying one by literally hours back in the winter of 2014/2015.....it was a fairly low mileage example at a MINI dealer. I went to drive it (about an hour or so away) and it had just been bought.....I loved that thing, but in the end the F56 is a way better car than the R56! My wait was a long one since very few manual transmission 2015 JCW's were made!

Great upgrade list you have.....you've got it bad hording things before your car arrives...lol! Good for you!

Please post pics of your JCW when it arrives & of course after the mods too!

Great build! I was going back and forth between the Rebel Green and Lapisluxury Blue on mine, but since my wife just got a BRGII, it might have been a little ridiculous to have two green hardtops in the family. Two hardtops will be hard enough to explain

 

I wondered the same thing. Not sure I've seen a Mini with the door handles body color.

 

Done it on mine. Would definitely do it again

 

That's a good match....white is the most difficult color to "match"! Nicely done.

I think the general consensus here is that everyone needs to know where you bought color matched head and tail light surrounds! :P

Also, I too just ordered a Rebel Green JCW with a white roof and black wheels. I like the cut of your jib.

 

Hey,

I purchased new blackline light surrounds and got them painted body color, I then did the same for the door handles. I purchased black door handle caps from outmotoring a then got them painted at the same time as the light surround from a body shop.

Looks excellent. You didn't put the car on the track straight from the dealership did you? I remember some guy took his loaner to the track once!
