You do know that this part is in stock along with the passenger euro shelf for $80 at ecs tuning. This is no longer a rare part.

 

I appreciate the heads up, but ECS doens't have this for $80, they want over $200 for it. I figured I'd help another forum member out.

You had me spooked as I have been saving for it.

 

I would verify availability before assuming they can still get it. When I tried to buy the shelf a few months back, it was on order for a couple of months and then they notified me that the new price was double the amount it was listed for when I placed my order. At that point I cancelled the order.

 

I had the same experience several months ago. However, I really want one of these, so I just broke down an ordered one on Friday (drivers side). I am tired of trying to pick up a used one or waiting for a sale at ECS.

They are a rare part and always in demand. I should always be able to get all or most of my money back if I want to get rid of it or the car (I have asked to be buried in the Mini though).

 

I just got my Euro Parcel Shelf along with the shelf liner and cover plate for $238 from ECS.

Love it.

Note: The kit does not include the screws and clips and they had to be ordered after the fact.

Mine just came in from ECS as well but I am out of town. Why do they call it a kit when hardware is not included? Can the hardware be transferred from the original piece?

 

The install requires 2 screws (I got black per install instructions I found online) and 2 plastic clips. They cost $6 and ECS shipped them for free due to the snafu.

Getting the screws into the clips is a tricky PITA.

Order the screws/clips now and hope they beat you home!
