going to order my 2016 JCW

How long is the build time?

What is the % off MSRP I expect?

Lease or buy?

Thank you everyone

Lead time - Depends on what slots the dealer has in the production schedule. 8 - 12 weeks is a good start point.

Discount - Again, depends on the dealer, but JCW is desirable so you might not get much.

Lease or Buy - Your call. Each has it advantages, but a good middle ground is MINI Select. There are finance tools on MINI's website. Run the numbers through it and see what works for you.

OMG. I was expecting 5-7% MSRP. Now, I might need to rethink about my financial situation. LOL

Thanks

I'm curious; where did that discount expectation come from? I can't think of a logical reason why a dealer would be compelled to offer any discount on a custom order, unless they were struggling to fill their allocation. Given the very limited JCW allocations, that's not a likely situation.

I was thinking no one would pay MSRP for a car nowaday. However, you are right. The limited JCW allocations will cause the demand higher. I don't know the JCW is limited.

Thanks for telling me.

Only ~900 JCW's were allocated to N.America for 2016.

Buy a Cooper or Cooper S of the lot & u will receive a discount.

Good Luck

Also with VW crashing and burning.....Mini's are for some the next option. My MA says they are almost twice as busy as they were this time last year. As Ryan says above why would they give you a deal...

Ordered mine 10/11. Production began 10/29. Expected completion 11/9. Looks like about 7-8 weeks total delivery time to the West Coast.

Not expecting any discount off MSRP sans the $500 loyalty and $500 USAA discounts.

I know if I would of taken a already built 2015 JWC off someone's lot they would of given me 1k off msrp but I really wanted certain options so the only discount off msrp I'll end up with is my corporate and usaa discounts.
