We have ordered a MCS from NW Mini (Tacoma, WA) but have been told the wait is at least 10 months which is simply unacceptable. I have talked w/a few dealerships on the west coast that have cars in stock or can get them delivered much more quickly though they have significant "market adjustments." One dealer is asking @ $5K over MSRP which is simply unacceptable. (15% mark-up plus an $1900 extended warrenty, security chip, paint treatment and floor mats...non-negotiable.)

We are looking for the following ASAP. If you can provide a car within a reasonable timeframe (2-3mos?), email me at hazzard@halcyon.com.
Thanks in advance.

Indi Blue, dark silver, red or BR green w/black or color roof (no white, no stripes, no flags)
Premium package
Cold weather package
cloth interior or leather (no leatherette)
anthracite trim (if available)
Bose sound system (if available)

Hi,
I am writing to you from Towne MINI in Buffalo NY. We have a few incoming Cooper S that are available. We have an all black S with all three packages and a cloth interior for m.s.r.p $22,775 plus $595

We also have a pure silver and yellow incoming both with black roofs and all 3 packages. For $23,175 + $595 for the silver and $22,775 + $595 for the yellow.

If you were to place an order with our dealership the delivery time is approximately 10-12 weeks for an "S" and about 8 weeks for a Standard Cooper.

Any questions I can be reached at 716-505-2100 ext. 423 or at nicole@townemini.com.

Thanks,
Nicole

Roadshow MINI in Memphis is delivering my exact most desired vehicle to me at MSRP with only $400 in silly dealer fees. It is a little over the MSRP, but I would rather pay about a dollar a day for the next 10 months driving my baby instead of sitting here at the computer drooling over everyone else's.

Give Dorian a call at 901-365-2584 and tell her I sent you (not that it will make any difference whatsoever though). She has been super-cool with me doing an out-of-state sale easier than any new car I have ever bought.

Maybe she is even as cute as she sounds on the phone? I'll know in a couple weeks when I pick up my baby.

Thanks for your posts and emails.
After much hand-ringing and lots of discussions w/lots of dealers, we ordered our car last week out of Wisconsin. They can get the car w/no mark-up over MSRP w/in 8 weeks (so they say). In spite of some dated criticism of the dealership, they have been straight and promp. So far so good.
I do some business in Wisconsin and can justify flying out and driving back to the NW. (cant' wait for that!) I didn't want to spend alot of $ shipping the car from out east to some loading dock out here.
Pretty excited. Now we just wait.
Opted for DS/B instead of Indi Blue, MCS.

Manhattan MiINI charged me straight MSRP (+$595 for the LoJack; I have no idea what the retail was/is for that, so maybe they made a buck or two there). They did not even force mats on me, but I took ended up taking them based on feedback here. So maybe there is a MCOnline Markup too. I ordered my (BRG) S in March. I don't know what their typical wait time is, and have been asking around about who else got a BRG before 10/15, but it seems I was fairly far up in line once they started becoming available. The S's they have in stock did have some pricey add-ons (lights, $995, wheels, three grand), but for a custom orders, they were great, all things considered.
