My new 1971 Mini MK3 Cooper S

Just picked up a new mini cooper S, wondering if anyone has seen it around or knows the history? I have some records but would love to track down ownership.

Wow that is a gorgeous piece of history! Well done! Can't help your question though...where did you buy it? Are you in the US? I see it's right hand drive, though...

you trust this is a true Cooper S cuz???????

looks like a rebuild .....

If you found a great Cooper S of the last year of production ... good for you

OR

did you get scammed?

did you check the date of production numbers stamped into the regular places?????

As stated above, the production date and vehicle ID numbers are important info to know in order to accurately identify your car. The last Cooper S MkIII cars came off the line in June of '71. It's a very nicely done restoration and I know you'll thoroughly enjoy it.
