Trying to gauge my Mini's value

It saddens me to say but I am considering selling my 2010 Cooper S. The closest dealerships to me are atleast 40 min away and I want to pick up a car with dealerships in town. Between KBB, NADA, etc I wanted to go to the best source for coming up with a fair price. My car is a 2010 Cooper s manual with 23k miles, standard, and has the premium, sport and cold weather packages. It currently still under warranty until 4/16 as I bought it certified from Mini of Manhattan in 2013. The exterior is a 8/10 no major dents or scratches just curb rash on the rims (prior owner lol) Interior is also an 8/10 with just normal wear. Thanks in advance.

I wish my dealer was only 40 mi away. I currently have to drive 170 mi to get to MINI of San Antonio.

This might help answer your question. http://www.autoblog.com/2007/06/22/best-blue-book/

Do you have access to Carmax? They gave me a very fair offer on my FR-S.

I do have one somewhat close by, doesn't hurt to check them out.

Most dealers I've been to basically laugh at KBB and NADA. Around here they base it on what's doing at the auction....which of course I can't verify.....

Your probly gonna puke like I did when I looked at prices on Auto Trader.

Non dealer 2012 S's are going for $16k to $19k.
These are with about 13k-24k miles.
My wife's has 53k miles.

Very true.

Dealers that participate in the dealer auction network have access to the price lists of the cars that have been sold at the local dealer auctions.

This is where they get the foundation for local market values. If they can buy a car like yours all day long for $11k, they won't offer you $15k. Unless they are putting you in a overpriced car.
