Does anyone know if the N18 JCW intake will fit with an N14 Cooper S motor? I tried to search before posting but couldn't find a straight answer.

Yea, as the whole box unit. Top and bottom.

But the FJCW N18 airbox is the panel filter, not any different then a normal N18 S intake.

Most people who have a N14 engine intake got to the JCW intake ( top half from the tuning kit) or just get ECS CF intake.

 

I just bought the JCW Airbox for the N14 engine no complaints so far, but I would change the filter paper because I find it too restrictive.

ECS, is it possible to buy just the filter from the ECS CF Intake?
I would like to know if it is an oiled filter or dry filter.

 

The ECS CF intake filter is light oil filter and only for the ECS CF intake, its has a different shape and size all together. No issues with the filter the ECS CF intake. I been running it since middle of last year. Its been to the track and everywhere







The pipercross tube filter foam filter / light oil is available for the N14 JCW tube filter intake.

You can install the JCW intake on the N18 MINI. What you do is buy the bottom half of an N14 airbox used from someone that has installed another aftermarket intake. Then the top half JCW airbox will bolt right in, works great as that is what I run on my MINI and prefer it.
