Helix Intercooler Introductory Offer

We are finally ready to offer a special introductory price on our Stepped Core Intercooler for the second generation MINI. Our first production run is now under way, and we wanted to extend a one-time special price for those who have been waiting so patiently for the release of our newest revision to the intercooler. We have stepped up production of this cooler, which has allowed us to be very aggressive on price, even while spending more on a core with greater fin density and all new cast end tanks. The regular retail price will be $599, but we will be running a special introductory offer of $539.

Here's how it will work. If you want to get in on the introductory offer, go to our website, and select the introductory offer. It will charge a $75 deposit which will lock in your price. The balance of the price, plus shipping, will be charged when we ship the cooler. If we get 25 or more deposits, we will pay the shipping (EDIT: to CONUS, but we'll do a special deal for those outside) as well! The coolers will be shipped in August when the production run is complete.

We will keep a running tally here of deposits so folks know if they've reached the free shipping threshold.

If you haven't been following the developments and testing here are some results of recent testing we performed on our dyno, as well as the street. The biggest improvement that we've made to the new intercooler is in the end tanks, where we used CFD modelling to improve air flow and reduce pressure drop.
