You know, while it might not be everybody's "cup of tea", I think it's pretty neat... Someone probably had a Samurai with a rusted out body, and a MINI with a blown head gasket sitting side by side... couple beers and some brainstorming- Voila!!!!

That'll be an easy sell: think of all the people who are looking for a MINI on a platform that handles so poorly that it was rated unsafe to drive when it was released, all powered by a carbureted Suzuki motor that's not in the car. It'll be gone by tonight!

The DSquared Mini was definitely the best of the one-off designer editions made throughout the years. Although the Paul Smith version is pretty classic (and now almost iconic). Diesel did one for 2006 I think, but I haven't been able to find a pic because googling "Diesel Mini Cooper" is obviously a futile attempt...

That's an amusing project car. Neat take on a Moke with a very clearly limited budget. DSquared's project killed it, but I respect this guy for doing something hilariously-similar for a fraction of the price.
