Playing Video via USB port?

I have an LCI Mini connected screen.

Can the car play video via the usb port from the usb stick? I've tried MP4 and avi extensions with no success.... any ideas what extension it reads?

2nd gen MINIs, like R60, cannot play video from the USB port. They originally could via the iPod's Plugin feature, but Apple killed both the hardware and software that supported it when the iPhone 5 and the Lightning connector came around.

Coding may allow you to, but I don't believe there's a way to do it stock.
