Got my clear sidemarkers from MiniMania today! Woo Hoo! They didn't come with any instructions and the folks at MiniMania told me that I could just "pop" out the amber lenses and snap these on. How do I "pop" the side markers off? Can anyone provide some step by step instructions please? I'm a complete newbie at this and don't want to mess it up.

Pull out the front edge of the grill/vent assy. and slide the whole thing forward

 

I replaced my side turn signal indicators last week with Blue Vision bulbs. Motor over to page 102 of your mini manual for simple instructions. I also replaced amber front turn indicator bulbs with Silver Vision bulbs for cleaner look.

I'm getting a LY MINI and would like to know if there is a way to tint the clear lenses to make the body color. Could I use some thinned touchup paint on the inside of the lens?

BONZ - Did you buy the clear side lenses and switch out the bulbs yourself? If so, how?

Or did you buy them with the Blue Vision bulbs already in them?

Try aniline dye, not paint,, (water soluble). Ron.

I think the white sidemarkers look really nice if you have the white roof, mirrors etc. I also got the chrome side vents since I have the other chrome.

 

Where did you get the bulbs from? I been looking to do this change.
