Hi everyone, new member here. I just bought an 04 MCS and I found the Peake scan tool for sale. I was wondering if this exact model can be used on multiple cars. I know some of the scan tools can only be used with a limited number of VIN's. I just don't want to buy the tool and find out I can't use it because it was already used before by someone else.

I just saw that the same item has been sold in the past in the marketplace so I figured that a preowned one should be fine and I went ahead and bought it.
I will report back if I find some issues.

Works on any Gen 1 R50 and R53 2001 - 2006. Doesn't lock in to a VIN like a Bluefin or
Shark injector so used shouldn't matter unless it's broken. I have one. Here's their website page.
