Somewhere online, I saw a picture of a small Union Jack flying from an MCs antenna mast. I can't remember where, but it looked really cool.

Obviously you wouldn't want to keep it up there all the time, as it would tatter and possibly damage the antenna mast, but it would be cool for show/cruising.

Does anyone know where one could purchase something like that? Also, any suggestions for attaching it to the antenna?

the problem with the soft nylon flags is they do tatter VERY quickly... last summer after Colombia won the copa de americas (Viva el futbol! ) i put a flag on my antenna... and it was pretty shredded after 2 weeks

just my experiences though

I recently got one that seems like a Tyvek material. If you email me
I'll send you one to see if you like it. Stars and stripes only.

Yes, please.. if to starts to get tattered, please replace it... It seems like nobody knows how to properly treat the flag anymore...

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, I'm looking for somthing larger. More like 8"x10". And I'm not too worried about tattering, as I would only fly it for cruises, and special events.

2minis: I'm interested in the Union Jack as a visual statement, not a politcal one. But if you're going to fly another country's flag, it may as well be the UJ. The Brits are about the best allies we could ask ask for.

Besides, I have to agree with Rocketboy_X. Almost all of the "patriots" I see flying Old Glory from their SUVs and Minivans let them fly in deplorable condition. Very aggravating.

So true. I hate to see flags left out in the dark, falling in the street and left there, displayed sloppily (albeit with good intentions). Flag display principles are there for a reason, and they matter.
I always think that if someone wants to display another country's flag that's free speech, but they should have the good taste and the gratitude to have the US flag there also in a position of prominence. So, put the Union Jack on the mast, but put the Stars and Stripes above it.
