Saying goodbye!!

Saying goodbye all my MINI friends. Decided that the repairs and headaches I've dealt with since owning my MINI were enough. I'll still remember some of the smiles and adventures that I've had with this little car, but I'm off to bigger and better things. Got a really nice deal on a practically new 2012 Mazdaspeed 3. Thanks again to all that I've met and everybody who have helped me learn all about MINIs. Motor on!!

Good luck! Sorry to see you leave. You almost made it 4 years. Looks like you are staying with the Chilli Red color theme.

Enjoy! Those cars are sweet! I finally picked up my 335i this afternoon, so officially I'm gone but still keeping the brand in mind in the future.

Good luck! The 335i is such a great car to drive. I came close to trading in my mini for an '08, but the HPFP and turbo issues scared me off. I hope you get a good one!

Thank you, my E92 is a N55, plus it's a CPO:-).

Ahh good call on the N55. Same HPFP though, no? If I was smart I'd snap one up while they're still new enough to be had under CPO Warranty. Definitely the perfect balance of power and luxury IMO, a much better drive overall than the F30's I've tested. I think the hydraulic steering in the E90 is great. Electric PS is a crime against the automobile.

I hated giving it back after the test drive... the dealer let me keep it overnight! Anyway enjoy!

You too OP, the MS3 is a great car

Personally I'm leaning towards a 5.0 Mustang next year, try the other end of the spectrum.

I agree I love the luxury and sports part of the car. It doesn't hurt its fully loaded. But enjoy the 5.0, that's an awesome muscle car by far compared to anything else.

No.
HPFP was mostly on N54 engines.
I've had my N55 335ix for 3 years and it's been bulletproof (returning it in 3 weeks, but nothing to do with reliability).

There is a TON of N55 E90s coming off lease, most can be had for around 25K or thereabouts. Definitely a good deal if you are into larger family haulers.

E90s are definitely more agile and better regarded than F10s.

Good luck,
a

Thanks all!! Was really wanting to get back into an STi, but for $40K or more it's just not worth it. I didn't want to get a used one as I didn't want to get something that somebody else already beat up. The MS3 was a CPO and was the dealer's son's car, so it was probably maintained pretty well. So far I love it!
