Vents move on their own

Good morning:
I have an 07 Justa. Any minor imperfection in the road causes the vents to change positions. Is there a fix for this? It's rather annoying

Thank you

Same here. Subscribing in the hopes you get a good answer. Didn't have this problem in my first two MINIs .

I think the only real way to fix them is replace them with new ones. As far as another fix some how the vent would have to be tighten up which I really see no way how.

I've had that problem in the past with a Miata. Try Velcro. Don't use the hook part but cut several small pieces of the soft part and attach them to the side of the swiveling vent. That is if there is enough room between the swiveling vent and the housing to get it in.

Once it started it got worse quickly w/ mine. The far passenger side though, w/c rarely gets touched, stays put. I think it's a combination of the front part being heavy & the plastic wearing quickly, they always seem to point down after hitting bumps.

If/when it gets really bad, I'll try brushing on some paint or maybe super glue around the sides of the vents

Mine do it too, it just hasn't bugged me enough yet to take care of it. I have some adhesive backed felt that will probably do the job as it is great to put between plastic panels for squeaks and rattles.
