Supercharger oil change question

Is it possible to top off the SC oil without removing it and tearing the entire front end apart?

If your answer is no, please just vote in the poll.

If your answer yes, please tell me how you did it.

I did a search on here and there seams to be a consensus but I want to verify since I like to be optimistic about things being simple.

For some reason I can't do a poll, there is not poll check box or button like there is suppose to be, just do a quick reply with your answer.

Webmaster/admins, can you please help me with the poll issue I am having. Wyam I not seeing "post with a poll" as an option?

No need to pull a poll...
Answer is NO.
IT MUST BE REMOVED AND TIPPED to fill...have a spare SC ON THE SHELF....
remember...there are two filling bungs...one is the snout...all sc have this....the other is the issue on the mini...the water pump PTO...the bung is under the water pump mounting area...and in the wrong spot to fill if not tipped.....

I wondered this also, what a bummer. They really should have made it easier somehow.

Somebody does make a device that permits you to change the s/c oil without disassembling anything but in order to install it you have to disassemble everything.

http://www.imperialmini.com email Sean, he can fill you in, but in order to install they do take everything out and inspect it before they add their stuff. After it all checks out they will reinstall and fill it up and then you can change the fluid every 20 k or sooner if you like. They have the tool for you do do that with. He does go to some of the events around the country. He is very knowledgeable and very reasonable. Check them out.
