Professionally Ported R53 Cylinder Head

Head was never installed since it was ported (I sold my R53 not long after getting the job done)

I can take trade for Classic Mini parts

I will be at Minis on Top in 2 weeks I can bring it there to save on shipping

What's the estimated power increase?

 

I have no idea.

I had the head ported by a friend's dad who is used to port head for ice racing and drag racing

I also have the original invoice for the valve job that was done ($370)

I had some questions about the finish of the porting

Head was glass beaded after the porting, this is why you don't see the grinder/smoothing marks that you see in some porting jobs

Unfortunately no, I sold my R53 ans pretty much everything that I had for it

I just realized your question.

I'm opened to offers as I've had this head done in 2011 and did not install it in my MINI. It's been sitting in my garage since then and I did not found anyone interested.

Money will be put on my vtec classic ;-)

 

if you still have this for the next MOT, I may need it haha. I could also potentially bring the gaskets to see how much porting there has been done

 

For me, MOT would be perfect as there is no risks with shipping and the buyer can see the head before purchasing.

Or someone who wants to pick up locally.
