JCW Exhaust question

I have a 2008 Mini Cooper S with the JCW package. My question is, does this exhaust have 2 cats or 1. I would like the exhaust to be a bit louder with more rumble. Is there a 2nd cat that can be deleted, or do I need to consider a exhaust upgrade?

Thanks

You have 1. Just the one in the Down pipe. You can also delete the resenator to open it ip a little bit.

Well no, he has a S with a JCW package. But the question is what package, or a FACTORY JCW?

If you got the tuning kit, you still have both cats. If you have a Factory JCW then you only have 1.

You can buy the factory JW muffler, and have it installed. But it isn't going to be much louder.

Or you can buy an Invidia and have your ears bleed because of the droning.

Or a Magnaflow. (ears bleed)
or a NM, (ears may bleed but it more of a whistle)
Or spend a crapload of money and buy an Akrapovic and be very happy.

If you want more rumble, try to delete the 2nd cat and resonator. If you like it, enjoy it. I've done that on my FJCW exhaust and it has a nice sound(sounds sporty) and no drone at all. Keep the resonator in case you decide to go put it back and possibly add a high flow downpipe from Evolve or Akrapovic. The high flow DP gives it a nice tone, but you MIGHT need to put a resonator on. Here's a Youtube video:

(listen to the first part with the Clubman showed, it's added with an Akrapovic DP)

I actually sold my catless DP since I didn't want the stink with it, sold it to a member here. I just purchased a high flow DP so as soon as that goes on, I will post a video.
