CravenSpeed OBDII Connector

Have any of you Gen I & Gen II folks used the CravenSpeed OBDII WiFi connector with an iPhone or even iPad? Seems like it would be better than a ScanGuage and able to download the data and use it offline. I haven't got my F56 MCS yet but it seems like a great product for the price. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I have the CravenSpeed OBDII WiFi connector and it does work well with my iPhone 4 and 5 with DashCmd app. The only issue is that it does not automatically turn on when the car has been and is started when its plugged in the ODB connection. If you unplug-replug then it turns on to activate and connect with phone.

It is true that the WiFi plug does need to be 'restarted' by unplugging. The bluetooth connector does not have the same issue...but also does not support the i products.

The WiFi OBDII Connector will work with an iPad, the trouble is where to mount it i the MINI?!
