My BOV blew itself apart

Just got back from picking my car up at dealer. about 10 days ago the 1/2 power light came on and power was way down. Dash Command was only showing 4 pounds boost max. The dealer diagnosed it as a bad BOV and ordered the part. When removed the tech said it was in peices I should say I do have a JB+ but took it off before going to dealer and when it is in place It is set to where BMS set it at the factory I have not opened it up to adjust and its been on for 6 months without issue. With the JB+ in place 93 octane The most I have ever seen is 16.3 pounds boost, on the way home from dealer without JB+ I was seeing 15.8 and the car felt great. What are other's seeing stock max boost? what are other's seeing with the JB+? I will reinstall mine tomm. and give feedback.

It is not the fault of the JB but caused by a weak and badly designed stock diverter valve. Thousands of these valves have failed in stock cars it is a known weakpoint. The JCW which makes 21psi boost stock uses the same DV, so the JB should not be a problem.

You can fix this permanently by getting a forge DV which is a better engineered metal one

I know its not the JB+ that caused the failure, I am wondering about boost, stock no JB+15.8 and with JB+ 16.3 seems like I should have more with the JB+.

GFB DV+ will solve the problem as well.
