Fender liners

So when my wife killed that deer, it ripped off the bottom half of the passenger fender liner. New these are $60-80 depending who you buy from. I couldn't bring myself to do that, so some searching led me to ebay. The same part but it looks more plastic than the stock fiber-type, which is fine by me. It's only $20 with free shipping from Virginia, a no brainer.
I'll update this thread when it arrives.

Gotta love eBay

Hope everything works out and they fit without any modifications needed.

Way to keep your car nice is to replace with OEM or better parts. The real ones may protect your cars underparts from damage that could cost you way more than $60. in depreciation or shop costs. If that's all that was damaged in the collision be thankful. But keeping road debris water & salt out of unreachable places is a good idea.

The deer did a bit more damage than that, but she was lucky and this is the last loose end. I am normally an OEM+ guy, but something like a splash shield can be cheap if it fits. MINI didn't reinvent the wheel with these liners that attract so much dirt.
The car had previous accident repair in the right quarter and is almost 100k, this is our budget commuter/fun car.

I hear you.

As in all things perspective is paramount.

No offense given, I hope you understand.

None taken. The depreciation was built in to this car when we bought it

Well, small update. The fender liner arrived shortly after my post. The box was huge, and surely it cost all of the $20 to ship. However, it does NOT fit. Not even close. I don't know what car it was made for, but not a MINI. Don't buy these cheap liners from ebay.
I was able to cut a piece off to repair my damaged liner, so it's not a complete loss.
