I've got a cam, bigger injectors, pulley, RMW tune and it just passed smog a few weeks ago. Now that I've got another two years I'm considering a Milltek header to go with the exhaust.

I just had my smog done about 6 months ago and it passed with the pulley i had to changeout the intake however but i was just wondering if the head or cam injectors would be detected in the tests somehow and or cause my car to fail smog i intend to keep the mods permanently in the car

I have A RMW head, RMW cam, RMW race header, CAI, W-A intercooler, RMW tune CP pistons 17% pulley, 2% crank pulley and several other things and I passed, but I have the stock cat. the high flow cat would not pass.

Hmm thats interesting ive never heard that before so as long as i keep the stock catback exhaust rather than say a alta catback ill pass?? Why is that??less emissions flowing freely out the cat because its more restrictive? How much performance do you lose by not allowing the exhaust to flow better?

Yes and no. I have an aftermarket exhaust ( that I got from RMW) that I had a muffler shop replace my high flow cat with the stock one. To tell you the truth I can't feel any difference in the way the car runs.

It goes very well, but I've learned there is always someone faster. I'm very happy with Checkers.
