What is the widest any one has seen front & rear?

I have seen 8.5 Rear and 8 Fronts
I am wondering if any one has or has seen 9s??

Normally we would not recommend anyone using different size width rims for front and rear but I think in the case you mentioned this was a track MINI with wide wheel arch flares?

Using the stock fenders you can order up to 18x7.5" rims at tirerack.

Using wider wheel arches I think one could go as wide as 9" but you might want to confirm this with Alex@tirerack
or with Dan at Piloracing.com who sells the wide arches.

humm...wider wheel/tire combo on the rear of a FF platform...
something doesn't chime in. Ive seen narrower wheel/tires on the
rear of a FF sportcompact race car which mades sense.

but i guess this is only for show.

I think you'd only want wider wheels on the front if you had an understeering problem. I think the rear sway takes pretty good care of that on the Mini.

I agree, oversteer is not my freind. keep it neutral!

thats not mine but that mini is on 8in front and 9 in rear.
those are 16in, i am doing 17in, 8in wide, with a 30mm offset and a 9in wide, with a 25mm offset.
