Hi guys,

As you may know, my husband passed away and I sold his 2009 JCW Mini Cooper to the BMW dealership. I am working on selling the rims and snow tires. I found these parts (see image) and I am not sure what they are and what they are worth.

Can you please help me identify them and what a fair price would be? Also, are there any other parts that should be delivered along with the rims and tires? Do Minis use lug studs rather than lug nuts? We have a box full of Racemax Spacer Bolts (8x 5mm & 8x 16mm). Are the round parts the wheel spacers that go with the bolts? And does a full set require 8 of each size?

I'd love to know what to ask for these parts because I am trying to sell a set of wheels and Blizzak snow tires (see second image). I want to make sure that these parts actually belong to the rims.

Please advise (or if you are interested, make an offer ). Parts are located in Cleveland, Ohio.

The 16mm spacers bolt up using special bolts, then use normal size bolts thru wheels.

The 5mm spacers require longer bolts, oem ones are not long enough to use.

Really can't see what is in the box to know if it's all there or not.

The wheels appear to be MINI S-lite wheels, 17 inch with a 48 offset. Put them up in the Marketplace and maybe you will have some luck moving them out of the garage.

The rims are not worth tons ( very heavy oem, common, but appears to be in good shape)...might be good for a person looking for a set for snowtires...
Also I suggest you post info on the year car they can off...if the tires were factory..they might be too old to reuse.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

The racemax spacers appear to be a set-
Pair of 5mm spacers with 4 bolts each- new price about $60
Pair of 16mm spacers with 4 bolts each- new price about $80
Spacers fit the MINI, 4x100 bolt pattern.

The wheels with winter tires are separate from the spacers and bolts. I think in your case they were used together but it is not a requirement.

The spacers can be used with any car that has 4x100 bolt pattern like Hondas. The bolts are used with MINIs and the thread pattern may not fit other makes. As mentioned the spacers require a longer bolt to secure the wheel, stock bolts are too short.

The 17x7 S-lyte wheels are in good shape. They are heavy at 25 lbs each and aren't really a good wheel except for winter tires. You'd have to check the condition of the Blizzak tires to see how worn they are. Best is to try to sell both wheels and tires as a set but sometimes people want only the tires if they are in good shape. When you do sell, more up close pictures would be helpful to buyers.
