BBS style wheel choices

I'm looking for a BBS style wheel, real or replica (3 pcs basket weave style), but I don't want an 8.5" width. That seems to be all I can find. I'm not a fan of the stretched tire look, so I want something in the 7" ranges. 17" wheel btw. Anyone have any suggestions?

Not exactly basket weaves, but you could go with BBS LMs. 17x7.5 ET40, perfect size for the MINI.

The only snicker I worry about is the candy bar. Don't really care what other people think of my wheel choice. As long as I'm happy with it, that's all I care about. I chose that particular wheel because its what I could find with the specs I want. Do you happen to now of a BBS wheel that is 7-7.5 inches wide? Because I can only find 8+ inch wheels and that's not what I want.

No wheel is indestructable or faulty. He asked in his first post to be linked to real or replica wheels in smaller sizes and that's what I did. You do have to pay to play with BBS wheels. They are a mid price range wheel. Any mid price range wheel you're going to pay over 2k for exactly what you want.

I guess I'll put in my opinion as well.

I bought some BBS Reps a while back and pretty much regret it. My car is OZ Racing wheels now, but before that purchase I had a chance to inspect my Reps once the tires had been removed.

The metal on these replicas are soft, sometimes brittle. I had the wheels on for about 2 months, and for those 2 months I never hit a pothole or anything like that. I figured that one of them had gone out of shape as I had some vibrations; anyways, I found out 3 of the wheels had slight bends. This ended my use of replica wheels.

I'm not gonna nag on about why you shouldn't buy them, it's your car, your story.

I've had some replica wheels that were crap and had vibrations and I've had a few sets that solid. One set I put almost 200k on commuting and they were legit and could take a beating.

You can't go wrong with the Real BBS. Seems kinda crazy to put a Chinese knock-off on a MINI. Or, anything else for that matter. Just my .02...
