Those are being sold by Grant, here in Colorado. The blue Mini with the red bar I was looking at in person on Thursday...ColoradoMark owns that one. Now I need to ask Grant who the model is...I want one of those, the model, not necessarily the bar, hehehe. Grant is a good guy, and that bar has amazing fit and finish, for those that are interested.

John, I have no idea. I need to chat with him regarding the different "Models", hehehe. I know Mark has that cage, and I saw it last week while he was doing his suspension stuff. The cage is very high quality. Now my question is who is the model...and is she a member of MINI5280, hehehe

Hi this is Nick and I work closely with Grant from Built-By-Bones here in Fort Collins. I stumbled across these threads after our e-bay hits went crazy this week after our new awareness/marketing strategy was launched!
I feel that there are some valid questions that need answering that are not included in our e-bay auction so I'll answer them here.
1- This is a SportBar not a rollcage. Its primary purpose is to provide anchor points for a 5-point harness for autocross and track days. In certain forms it does meet SCAA and NASA rules.
2- Our website is currently in development whereby we will have some unique MINI products from the UK.
3- The SportBar comes with a complete set of written and photographic instructions.
4 - Installation requires front seats to be removed.
5 - It bolts in.
