Jacking points missing

I was rotating my tires this past weekend and as I was going to put the jack under the car using the std jack points (the small square plastic blocks where the stock jack attaches), it was missing. The front one was there but loose. Is this a common problem? I dont think anyone would even think to check these, unless you have a flat. Should a replacement be covered under warranty?
Luckily, the car is small enough that both wheel come off the ground using the front point.

Someone could have knocked them off before. They snap into the bottom on body near the rocker. Sometimes common they are missing. You should have 4. Two on each side between the wheels. Don't know if they will cover under warranty, just ask the dealer if you fall under the time and mileage wise. If not and you need them we have them here. They snap in then push the center plug for them to hold. Make sure you have all four of them.

I lost one once on my R50, so you're not alone. The dealer replaced it the next time I took it in for service.

I should order a set for my R60 since it doesn't come with them for whatever reason.

They come off all the time although supposedly less on newer cars. Friend has a 2009 S and he loses them all the time at the auto-x. We've never lost one on our 2010 JCW

Yep, this has been a thing since the E36 started coming with the plastic "pucks" used as jacking points. The only ones I've seen that stay on with any sort of longevity are those equipped on the E46 BMWs. They have a plastic rivet-type system that keeps them snugly in place.

Let me know if you find some. RealOEM does not list any part number (that I could find) for Countryman jack points block

Check Way Motor Works, their own brand. Made out of aluminum, bolt in place and are 3/4" shorter than factory ones. I just ordered a set as one of my plastic POS ones fell off and getting my floor jack under them was a PITA.

Hummm, not sure if the "standard" jack point block for the other Minis will fit on a CM? Currently, there is no "block space", only a raised edge, or ridge.

They fit the CM. There's a thread about it here:
