I believe MOSS or BFP in sponsor directory have them for about $180 or so. Thats about as cheap as I've seen

CF scoop

where can i get the bigger lip for the intercooler scoop? i've seen a few of them now but don't see a vendor.

i don't want the replacement CF scoop. i want the extended lip that sticks onto the current scoop to increase air through/over the intercooler.

Im thinking WRx mail slot.. Looks like crap to me.(Just in styling) It could be the best thing since sliced bread for hp, but my eye scream subaru.

Pricing

I can't fathom the price being so high for plastic "cf look." For those duckets, I'd expect real carbon fiber.

You should check with Randy Webb as he was developing one a while back.

I used to think these were ugly but now I don't mind there appearance so much, mainly because I am more aware of just how important it is to cool that IC down as much as possible.

There is one from JCW coming and there is a part number for it in the MINI/BMW computer system, but they have not yet arrived on our shores. The only piece available right now is the boot handle.

I got mine here. $169. Its pretty good for the price. It isnt the best but it'll do it.

gmed, i'm looking for something that is bigger than the factory scoop. one with a larger mouth to put more air over the intercooler.

Oh Im sorry. I had a long day. Ive actually researched that, and I couldnt find anything like that. Someone needs to get in there and design one.
