I ordered the 2003 model with the silver dash vs the patina alloy or anthracite. Wondering how many of you prefered this over the others.
Hoping for December delivery for DK Silver MCS wh roof/mirrors
Waiting since August 1st

I'm not too keen on either. I think a flat black or carbon fiber would look money.

Cheers

I would like a more retro look - color keyed to exterior

I went silver on my MCS. I like the clean look. The Alloy looked dirty and smudged. Others must have thought so also, hence the option. At least all MSC's will look different.

The patina looks pretty darn nifty if you keep it nice and shiny... it really makes a big difference...

Hey Rocketboy,

Just got mine last week - how do you keep the patina alloy clean?

Anything except the fake wood stuff would look good.

there are coloured carbon fibre kits now available which look pretty cool

I chose the same interior for my MCS. I thought the high gloss silver with the black door casing would privde a good contrast. The anthracite looked nice , but since I chose the dark gray exterior I felt I might be overdoing it with the gray anthracite.

I requested the shiny silver because I really didn't like the patina at all. I've heard there's been a lot of confusion about which dash options are truly available on the 2003 MCS and mine came in with the Patina. Now that I see it in my own MCS, I actually like it a lot and am very happy. I don't think you can go wrong, well maybe with the wood you could.

I agree! Everyone who looks at my car notices the Patina Alloy and says they love it! Everyone seems to agree that it really makes the car look expensive. I personally LOVE the "brushed aluminum" look. I was unsure the first time or two in a MCS. But by the time I got mine, I just love it!!!!

I'm telling you - once you have the Patina Alloy and see it more than a few times, you'll love it! It really looks expensive/fancy.

Easy, Armor-All protectant wipes... (yellow can, they are the ones for plastic and vinyl)... and when you're there, I'd pick up a can of window wipes, and leather wipes... I use the leather ones to clean my seats (even though it's the leatherette).. and i don't know if it's because of the wipes, or just the quality of the leatherette, but quite a few people thought that they were leather seats.. (some even after sitting in them.. )
