There is not much COLOR out there, I drove 400 miles and just found bits & pieces

So, let's do a short little drive up Sqaw Pass then down to Idaho Springs & have breakfast at Hill Daddy's Wildfire Cafe and have Hub Cap pancakes


"FALL COLOR RUN--Take 2" will be on October 5th


TIME: 9:00 AM----arrive early as we will leave promptly at 9:00 AM

WHERE: WOOLY MAMMOTH RTD Parking Lot-exit #259 from I-70 go North at intersection then turn left for US40 & I'll be in the 2nd parking lot on the left.

Hope everyone still comes, we're overdue for a drive

We will meet up in the AM. have a nice drive, stop for photo ops & then usually stop for lunch somewhere

 

oct 5th is our anniversary, so i'll miss this one, have an extra pancake for me :D

 

Remember, there is a drive on Saturday via Squaw Pass road with breakfast in Idaho Springs.

Get out and have some fun, it will be a great Saturday.

Will likely be there, but ya'll will have to excuse my filthy exterior...shameful, I know, but I've been literally unable to give MiniPook a bath since the floods, and given the full hour drive to get to Wooly Mammoth in the morning, she's not gonna get clean then...

That Mammoth Park-n-Ride was a good spot, big enough lot for us to have a MINI only area.

Great running up on you guys Saturday. Seeing all of you in one place was a lot of fun. I would have loved to stay for breakfast, but I had to go home and change out to a Honda Pilot and drive my son to Leadville for the state high school mountain bike race. There's a lot of color just starting at 10,000 feet though. My son is taking the SAT on October 5. If he doesn't need us, my wife and I will be there for take two. I joined 5280 three years ago with my JCW, but never got out. Now that the kids are just about done and I ditched the back seats I hope to renew and get out more.

 

I thought I saw a glimpse of a GP.....hope to see more of you!
