when I had my clasic "Rover" I got a duffle bag, ruck sack, foot locker, a 5 gallon water can and passenger. In my Pceman...I am the biggest thing fit into it so far.

I've fit 2 complete sets of Mini wheels and tires in it at once.

I've also gone to Ikea and fit four of these nearly 6 foot tall shelving kits in it:
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S29896362/
(I had to take the strapped together bundles of parts apart to make it work.)

So far, me (6'8" 230lbs and fit incredibly comfortably)

I haven't had a reason yet to stick anything else in it that is rather large.

Set of wheels, set of tires (not mounted.), box of coilovers, box of control arms, etc.

Second to that, a 47" TV as well. It was a tight fit.

Wife, daughter, and suitcases and crap for 1 week of summer camp. She is 11.

It was also fun when I brought back some 10' long pieces of stainless tubing. I had them under my arm with about 5' outside the window facing forward. I felt like I was ready to Joust.

Ok, not as impressive as some of the other guys, but there is surprising roomy if you plan ahead.

Have fun,
Mike

You win in my book, being a Saab nut myself.

Largest single item? Nothing crazy yet, but me and my GF did take the mini camping and with the rear seats folded down, the entire back was full to the brim with various things.
