R56 2014 Justa Confusion
2014 Justa Confusion
Crown Mini in Richmond, VA, has a pic of what they claim is a 2014 Justa hardtop. http://www.crownmini.com/VehicleDeta...-VA/2051252453
It's definitely a new body style, but they list it with a 1.6L four-cylinder engine...and a ridiculously high price.
I was under the impression that the new Justa wan't going to be available here in the US until next spring, but that pic surely looks like a new model to me.
I'm lost!
Can anyone clarify?

A: That's an S. They picture the badge and engine
B: It's not a new body style Cooper, it's a Paceman
C: It looks to be an All-4 all trimmed out with options
Though I don't agree with the pricing of MINI's brand new, that doesn't look outlandish for dealership.

Not a problem. Just a very observant person lol. I'd love some of these new MINI's, but after owning my 07 S for a bit, I can't really justify new prices for the build quality/feel inside compared to other cars in the $30-40k price range.

I ended up buying my car from Checkered Flag down in VA Beach. Good experience and worth the drive!
No kidding. Its not like people were mobbing the dealership trying to nab cars! I was usually alone on the lot. It seemed like the sales person was very interested in making a sale, plus I had just totaled my car and was in need of a car, so its not like I was some flake! But they WOULD NOT BUDGE. Just some preferred customer discount (whatever that means) of like $400 off of the MSRP. Other than that - they wouldn't budge a penny, even on a justa. Needless to say, that was the end of that deal.

Not even lower than MSRP?? Wow. Good for you. You know, I ended up getting a 2013 Cooper S for a little over 22K. I told the guys in Richmond that it wasn't going to happen - that I found a great deal someplace else. I gave them an opportunity to try and match, or at least get close. They didn't. Instead, they started bad mouthing the dealer - telling me to watch out for a 'high mileage' demo car. Sure, the car had 200 miles on the odometer, but I could really care less. Its new, has a great, long warranty, and is 200 miles closer to being broken in. All in all, it was definitely worth the 2 hour drive to save $4000.
High mileage? 200? That's VERY typical mileage on a brand new car. Sounds like that dealership can go pound sand. They lost a customer who gave them 2 chances to seal a deal. Pretty bad business practice.
I have purchased my last 3 cars at thousands under MSRP by finding one off "specials" that specific dealers were trying to blow out. Heck even if it's out of state, find a deal for $4000 off msrp, it's totally worth it :D And 200 miles is not bad. Good job on finding a deal!
