Cooper s r56 exhaust smoke problem

Dear All ,

I have year 2010 R56 Cooper S (not LCI) ... Now my car is 63K Kilometers ... After some modifications unfortunately i have seen blue-white smoke out of exhaust. First i want to give details what is done to my car ;

-First of all i take my car to service and check everything and changed all fuilds. We have added MOTUL 5-30 Oil ...

-I have custom made catless downpipe

-Forge Dump Valve

-KN Air Filter (in box)

-Ecu Remap

After this modifications i have seen exhaust smoke . But not on the way . When motor is hot , i am waiting a few seconds and when i make full throtle with gear N , a smoke is puffing out. While waiting now smoke also .

I thougt that this is happened because of Ecu Remap and i directly load factory ecu map but nothing changed. I have used my car after ecu remap maximum 100 km and turn back to original . Still i have DP , DV and other parts.

I have also watch videos from youtube 'Cooper s Catless Downpipe' and most of them has a smoke. Is it normal ?

I have take my car to different services and most of them said your 'Valve Steam Seals' damaged. Bu i cant belive that 63K km is possible and you know it is a high cost around 1.500 USD in Turkey . So they can do this for a money maybe.

Do you have any idea about this ? What can be the reason ? Is it normal ?

Reason is downpipe or is it possible to damage some parts after ECU REMAP ? But i drive very very less (100 km )

Thanks for your support in advance ...

Who did the ECU remap?

Did you modify the PCV system?

A bad PCV valve, which is located in the valve cover, could cause this issue too.

ECU Remap done by a Turkish Guy who is very famous in İstanbul and nearly %80 of Coopers remapped by him and i didnt heart any problem , also it is not very hard tune as i informed boost pressure is max. 1.4 bar.

Actually i also read some articles about PCV valve problem but is there any valve on R56 cooper S ? There is a pipe making a vacuum from motor and as i know connected to manifold directly ? Is there any part to replace on PCV system of R56 ?

1.4 bars is something like a hair over 20psi. That's dangerous territory. Especially with a stock intake and stock intercooler. The k&n drop in intake is good but it will still create a vacuum and be starved for air. I can't imagine how much timing your car pulls. Is it an automatic as well? Have you pulled your plugs to see if they are fouled or extremely dirty? Do you have a boost gauge and if so are you still making full boost on the stock tune?

My car is automatic , i have used my car maximum 100 km after remap but when i see smoke again load factory map but nothing change. My car is automatic also . İ have fouled out pcv pipes and some of oils inside. This week i am thinking to assemble oil catch can ...

Weather is very hot in turkey nowadays around 40 celcius, maybe this can also effect?

My pRoblem is as below videos , on this videos everything looks normal for that car owners because videos are only to show sound.

İs that smoke normal on that videos. İs it possible to happens because of pcv system and because of catless dp happens a smoke ?
