Did this once in a friends black 83 RX7 with a can of coke that get left behind a seat after a late night pizza run.

Car was parked all weekend in the hot summer sun.

30 years later he still yells about it. Lol.

Btw, in that pic.. It's frozen... That also happened one winter in my parents boat.. They left the cooler full of beer and soda one fall.

Went down to check in it over the winter to find a beery/soda/sticky explosion out of the top of cooler.. All over the interior..

 

Yes it is frozen. The temperature changed quickly and they were left in the car.

 

Where are you that it got that cold recently? The north pole? Or is this an old picture?

I have frozen sodas in the freezer and had them blow. Never in my car.

 

Looks like that scene in Pulp Fiction where Marvin gets shot in the face...yikes

 

my mom's explorer had a 2 liter of pepsione left in it on a hot florida day, bottle burst from the bottom and essentially vaporized. Hardly left a mess. My mom called pepsi and they wanted us to mail them the bottle and sent a bottle with coupons.weird. so heat its good for it either!
