TPMS and Tire Rotation

Simple newbie question :

When I rotate my tires, will that require a TPMS reset ?

I have seen other posts indicating it will require a reset. Maybe it varies?

Maybe... But it's not something that requires a trip to the dealer. It's a simple DIY, push the button on the turn signal operation...

yes, but i think 8k miles is too long for a turbo engine to run the oil

i got the extended maintenance, so mini does an oil/filter change every 8k and i do an oil/filter change when the OBC counts down 1/2 way, ie to 4k miles

oil is cheap ... engines are expensive

maybe in a base model, but I agree that 10k oil changes are bad business, esp as engines get older. I'm shooting for every 4-5k miles.
