4. Where from can i purchase it as cheap as possible?
5. Is there ScanGauge 3 coming out?

2. It looks like it can read and clear CEL but I haven't had to try that yet.
3. I used the Cravenspeed flex pod mount.
4. Cheap, probably some random online dealer. I would try to use Linear Logic or a trusted vendor though. For it to read certain info on a Mini requires a software update. Can mail it to then for the update. Or buy direct from them with the update installed.
5. Sorry, don't know.
I would put links in there but I'm on my phone. If you need help finding stuff let me know.
1: The Regular list is on there website, buying it from them directly or waymotorworks; which already has mini additional gauges. Engine oil temp, boost/map water temp, Engine temp, Air fuel ratio, fuel rail pressure, ATF temp.
Its definitely worth it, I was on the fence about it but I realized this is a great tool for changing atf fluid and determining whats going wrong without a diagnose fee.
2: Yes it will Clear CEL; the last one I pulled up was a air leak or mass flow or something. I believe that is DTC.
3: I velcro'd it underneath the center console where the cubby holder is, it looks very clean there no wires and not obnoxiously in the way, the velcro supplied doesnt stick well.
4: Go for Waymotorworks it comes with the preinstalled mini software.
5: Not sure

Scan Gauge comes with a standard software package that works for most cars pre-installed. To get the most out of it in a Mini (especially a few gauges like oil temp) you need an updated software package. Only the manufacturer can install. So best to buy from them or WMW or similar that sells it pre-installed.
Mini is in the shop getting the aero kit installed. Will post pics of my set up after I get him back.

I have been on the fence about this but at this price, until tomorrow, it may be simply too good to pass up. But should I get the E or II? And since I have a 2003, the software upgrade is irrelevant.
