MINI Connected engine hp

after poking around a bit i couldn't get a straight answer...is the engine hp/torque reading of the MINI Connected app accurate ?

are the readings consistent ? ...any of u guys who had an ECU tune or whatever mod is getting higher values ?

i'm looking to retrofit my 2012 CMS ALL4 with said app and was most interested about this aspect

thanks a bunch

I don't know if it's accurate, but I have seen mine above 208hp, which is the advertised peak.

Since the app update though, I've lost my sport gauges.

What sport gauges did you have? I have the connected/NAV package in my Paceman and will be getting an iPhone this fall when the (5S,6?) comes out. The manual mentions sport gauges, but doesn't clearly describe them.

No idea, it was just an app store update. Worked for a little while and then poof, no more sport gauges.

There are a couple of additional gauge faces in the driving excitement app. One is relative g forces, basically shows you which way you are leaning, and the other is a set of hp/torque gauges.

I had no problem with any of it on my iphone 5 until the app update. No idea if it's permanent or not.

I'm taking a stab in the dark here, but I assume the hp shown is the hp generated (at the moment) to keep you running at the rpm & speed you are driving. I've seen mine as low at 19hp to keep me moving down the road.
