Where and what type of lock tight

I am replacing many components on my 06 Mini R53 and as I am removing some of the stuff, it seems there was lock tight on many of them:

Slave Cylinder
Flywheel
Lower Ball Joint assemblies
and other places I'm sure.

What is the recommended type?

Thanks

I would use Loctite 242. It is removable, some types of Loctite are not.

Blue requires mechanical intervention (aka a wrench)
Red requires heat

I'd stick with blue.
