Ok so I have a 2004 mini cooper and my stick shift cables went out. I had them replaced along with the stick itself and now the car wont start. We put it on the computer and the computer is saying that it needs a memory reset. The dealership is saying that they do not do memory resets for that years model. Have spent hours looking online and cannot figure out what the problem is! COULD ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE!!!
Getting all the way to the end on the ECU reset...it makes the noise on the gauges and the sound but after that the lights don't come on.....SO FRUSTRATED!!! Do I need a new ECU???
