Time for new tires

It's that time for new tires and I'm looking for suggestions. What does everyone enjoy for a good all season non run flat tire. I have the stock 195/55/16 tire size. Would you guys suggest getting something a little wider? What fits?

While there are quite a few Runflat choices for the MINI in 195/55-16 these days, most are summer tires.

For Ultra High Performance All Season runflats the tire of choice is-
Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS 400 treadwear
195/55-16 $141 each, 25 lbs
205/55-16 $138 each, taller sidewall allows more ride comfort than stock.
Tirerack test results for runflat tires-

Both sizes will fit the MINI OEM 16" wheel and suspension. If you have a lowered MINI then 195/55-16 gives more clearance since 205/55-16 is taller than stock at 24.9" tire diameter.

205/55-16 tire size will work, has a little more tread contact patch for more grip, has taller sidewall for comfort, is 3 lbs heavier and has more rolling resistance. In deep snow it is better to have a more narrow tire. Cost is nearly the same for each tire.
