Helix will be hosting a dyno tuning event starting June 1 with RMW. If you are interested in a custom dyno tune for your 1st or 2nd generation MINI, here's your opportunity. We are currently taking appointments for June 1 through the 4th but may have to go longer. We currently have a bunch of interested folks. I will start a calendar here and we'll extend the dates if necessary.

Are you doing any mods also? I would like bigger injectors before a tune. It's a long drive for me so not real sure I want to drive 400 miles to do this tho.

 

any suggestions on what to do to the car before tuning? I want to do RMW tune, but I dont want to get a DP and intercooler and end up needing a new one..

 

He told me through email that he won't touch mine because it's a pain. He said for me to wait for a OBDII. And he didn't want to mess with my warranty(which I'm out of).

Oh well, PAW/RennTech can have my money if he doesn't want to.

 

He's aware that OBD will not be a possibility, we discussed it.
He told me the same thing about warranty when I spoke to him...in hopes that an OBD would be available soon. But that's obviously a no go.

Guy is super busy, I'll try again before he takes off to this tuning event.

hey helix I'm gonna have to cancel. instead I'm going to trade in my mini for a new one i think i will be better off my interior is outdated and was looking to get a new one sorry for the inconvenience.
