I was looking into the alta catback but even they said their exhaust is mellow. I wanna nice sounding exhaust (maybe with a straight thru muffler and a resonator delete?) what are some of the louder, good sounding exhausts for mini??

 

Borla Race and Magnaflow I believe are the loudest.

 

I have the M2 and it's got a good tone to it. There are some sound clips of it on YouTube so you can judge for yourself.

The Invidia exhaust is loud as well. Much louder than miltek/stratmosphere. Plus it's just $550 lol.

 

I may have talked to you through YouTube/email but I have a custom straight pipe set up. It's definitely louder than any aftermarket cat back (even with the resonator).

I just got the Invidia N1 on Monday. My mechanic said it's definitely louder than the Milltek (which he's installed before). I haven't heard the Borla Sport or Magnaflow in person but as Bram said, they're reputed to be the loudest (aside from a custom setup).

The Invidia sounds fantastic: nice tone and no drone. Installation was a snap as fitment was excellent and quality of workmanship looked great. Don't let the price fool you - it's a nice exhaust for sure.

 

There's some obx ones on eBay for under $300.. video clip on YouTube sounds loud!

 

Check you tube for clips of the billy boat system. It's listed in the Bavarian autosport catalog as the loudest they carry. Not sure how it compares to magnaflow.

 

i have the magnaflow catback, it have have the resonator and 2 mufflers, but it is not quiet....... great tone, great burble, fitment was nice and easy, although i do reconmend getting exhaust paper to put inbetween fitments, came with really nice clamps as well. when i first installed it, my buddy could hear me form a few streets over in the woods, once i get my vid up on youtube i can share the link
