Ive been looking at getting some wheels for my black r56 since i will be lowering her with some nm springs. I cant decide what color wheel to go with though. I have seen black cars with all black, gold, and white wheels. I was wondering if people could post pictures of your cars with your wheels if you have these colors. I have not seen to many black r56's with white wheels.

What color is your interior and stripes if you have them?

 

interior is all black, and I do not have any stripes on the car.

 

Do you plan on striping it? Instead of going like everyone else if it were me since the interior is black also I would go with blue or red wheel IMO. It would really stand out then. See these links from tirerack with red or blue wheels on a black MINI.

You are right, those red wheels make it stand out so much more!

I love my white wheels but, you have to have something to tie it in with like stripes or a roof that is white. On a black car, blacks wheels just disappear. On top of the fact that blacking out a car is so over played it is now just a ricer thing to do. I vote for gold or a dark bronze, those two always look good on a black car especially if they are a decent wheel.

 

Go with GOLD! It's something awesome and only some cars can pull off!

I can't wait to move to San Fran in the winter. I'm going to take pictures like that in Sausalito and next to the Golden Gate bridge.

 

I live in SoCal, but I was on a project so I was up there for months. Would love to move up there, but my line of work wouldn't allow me to. Either way, that pic MINI USA used for the Bay Bridge anniversary earlier this year

 

It's so hard to pick now, the gold is looking nice. I used to have a Subie with gold wheels but the car wasn't black
