looks like a similar casting, but, I thought the JCW had 4 pistons. I know that the 135i sport package has 6 piston calipers up front. Maybe this is an image of the GP fronts which are 6-piston?

The MINI ones look like GP2 6 piston calipers to me.

 

The new GP2 brakes are the 1st picture and are 6 piston just like the BMW caliper in the second picture.
Regular JCW's have 4 piston.

 

Has anyone confirmed that the 135 brembos are the same as the GP by trying to fit a 135 pad?

I am looking at getting some track pads for the GP, and there are loads and loads of compounds and brands available for the 135. It would be great if they were the same

If nobody has confirmed them I will have to get the workshop to pull some out of a 135 and try fitting them to the GP.

I think I recall waymotorworks saying they had EBC red's available, so presumably they have worked it out

 

What size is the GP2 rotor? I think the rotor size may be slightly larger for the 135.

 

Front rotors are 330mm.
