hey NAM i've been searching for a fix for a problem and finding no luck.
My wife's automatic R56s has a flat/dead spot when trying to move off from a stop. you will press the accelerator pedal a good 1-10% before it will finally go with a jerk sort of like you doping the clutch at 2500-3500 rpms.

have any of you experienced this? is there an easy fix for it?

 

Is the engine bogging or does the engine rev and then transmission just not catch right away?

How many miles on the car, btw?

 

no bogging, rps doesn't go up until the accelerator get to a certain point then the car goes..

around 55k

 

hmmm...if you have the car in Park or Neutral and slowly press the pedal, does it exhibit the same behavior? Also, does having it in "Sport" mode make any difference?

neutral/park it acts normal.

i guess i exaggerated about it being like dumpling the clutch.. it like there is no throttle applied till about the 10% depressed pedal..
its a little less in sport mode..
