Hey had my countryman for about 3 weeks now and love the car. But I can not find my tool kit. NO CLUE where it is. also in the manual i read that there is a tire compressor also is this true also where is it?

 

Pretty sure both of those are options we don't get in the US. I don't think they even give you a jack anymore.

 

Really. Wow that is hard to believe. I am stationed in south korea right now and i bought it from a south korean dealer that sells american versions to military. I have been asking him where my tool kit is for a while now.

I have the First aid kid, safety triangles, and tow hook but thats all i can find.

 

the 2013 models no longer come with the jack/tools

the pump is an option you can buy at the parts counter

You are lucky to even get the first aid, safety triangles. I don't think I got those w/ my 2013 CM I just picked up this week.

 

WTH?! I can't believe a car doesn't come with any tools! Even with run flats, I'm sure there will be a situation when you have to jack up the car on the side of the road.

 

the usa does not require that cars have warning triangles or first aid kits so we do not get them

it is a shame the jack/toolkit has been deleted, the factory jack works well for tire rotations

Thank goodness for America's Tire Co.'s free tire rotations...

 

just make sure they use hand tools and a torque wrench and not an air gun to tighten the wheel bolts

also the torque should be checked after about 100 miles of driving

that is why i do my own

Yeah, I'm pretty **** about torque specs so I watch them like a hawk.

 

Yeah thats pretty much crap that we dont get 1. kinda mad about that.
