Last time most of you heard a peep out of me was December of 2009 when this happened...







Well nearly 3 years later in September of 2012, I came into ownership of a new 2012 Cooper after I was hired on as a tech at Brian Harris MINI in Louisiana. Meet Skye everybody.







The similarities are obvious but there is one little detail that I love about is one. It's a standard. I love having a standard and I find it to be much more enjoyable than the auto box I had in True Love. I haven't been as active in the MINI community as I would like but I am changing that ASAP. Glad to be back.

 

Ouch...that was some hit. Hope you were not in it when it happened.

I was in the car and the car was totaled a week later. Was driving a Ford Focus for a while and a 1986 Nissan 300ZX briefly. I knew once I became a tech with MINI, I needed to get back behind the wheel of a Cooper.

 

Good to see you've returned to the fold. Love that blue. Hope you weren't hurt in the accident.

Thankfully I wasn't hurt at all in the crash. I was even at a Megadeth concert that night. I am glad to be getting back into the MINI community.

Yeah it was a knock but I walked away thankfully. It definitely gave me no doubts about buying another one when the time came.
