So I'm a bit late for signing up for MINIs on the Dragon this year, and I notice a lot of the events are already fully booked. Are we still allowed to join in for the drive and just be an audience member? I'd love to just snap some photos of some of these events even if I don't get to participate in them!

 

The drives have limits. Some are limited due to a final destination such as a restaurant or ziplining, etc. Others have a limit because the leader feels that is the number of MINIs he/she can confortable lead without loosing the convoy.
