My wait is almost over...

So, dealer just emailed me some new pics of the CM ready for collection tomorrow... looks mighty fine to me.... will be all mine this time tomorrow!

The 1st March is the new date for registrations in the UK, so the 13 is the new plate.

What we think folks?

Nice Do I spy an "SD" emblem? Would be nice to see a few of them over here. Congrats on new ride.

I wish we had the rectangle plates here in NY. Love the blue.

It was a tough choice on the colour. We were going for Blazing Red, but then changed to Cosmic Blue after much consideration! The black wheels go nicely with the Cosmic... v happy with the look of it.

Thanks... yes the SD... fuel prices are quite high in the UK. So the diesel option on the Cooper S was a no brainer. Will send more pics of the badge tomorrow!

We have waited since early January, so yes, hard not to think of anything else but... almost there!

Funnily enough, I think the more square shaped plates in the US are cooler! The Uk plates are government standard where you have to have exact letter spacing... and changes. ie. trying to make words and you are slapped with a on the spot fine of around £60 ($100)...

Yeh, the blue is nice... just hope its OK to look after.

Had a fab trip back from the dealer... about 140 miles of a Mini Adventure...
Hand over went really well.... anyway, will be taking some better pics in daytime over the weekend... however, always good to see how she looks in the dark!
